Poem -

I cry out

 I cry out

How many times I have sinned against God?

How many times I have fell short of God's glory?

How many times I have crucified Jesus all over again?

How many times I haveĀ wept-ed for forgiveness?

My spirit is willing but my flesh is weak, I cry outĀ

for my heavenly father to make me strong.

To take me out ofĀ darknessĀ and put me into his

Ā marvelous light,to take me out of the miry clay

and put me on kings highways and to pick

me up from whence I have fallen.

I know I need to pray, resist the devil and he will

flee from me, I know I am a new creature but IĀ

sometimes give into temptation when I suppose

to fight against temptation.

I break the heart of God, I am the guilty one who

cries out for mercy, love and forgiveness.
