I desire

How could they understand 
​​​​​​I desire to be perfect 
I deserve to have it all 
But in life you can't always get what you want 
So I expect the worst 
There's no point in hoping for the best anymore 
I shall continue to only exist 
I'm not dying 
Nor am I living 
Just trying to make it out alive
