Poem -

I Dont Need A Friend, I am A Friend

What you have to give
Has nothing on me
Where you have to live
Is but my let be

Your gifts can be poor
Or none existent
Mine's the open door
With arms extended

Never mind the likes
Or who knows you well
Never mind the looks
Or the times you fell

You can be helpful
With your warm wishes
Or not too useful
With superstitions

I dont need a friend
Too busy being one
Should I prove faulty
Just let us be done

I'm ready to act
With all my feelings
Judge me without tact
In all our dealings

My "Best Friend" is 'God'
Find in me a friend
Or just find me odd
Mine's the open hand
