I feel it’s sad when a loved one dies
People come to the funeral there they may cry
From then you don’t see them no one calls
I still wonder what happened to them all
Why did they come and maybe show they grieve
When from then on you don’t see them after they leave
They don’t bother to call to see you’re okay
Your phone doesn’t ring have they nothing to say
You are left all alone seems most people don’t care
They don’t know what it’s like when there’s no one there
No one to hold you in the midst of the night
You may be unhappy or may wake with a fright
No one to talk to with no one to share
Where are the ones who really care
Why is it the funeral they attend
When they do nothing to help your heart to mend?
