“I forgot to say my prayers!”

Pitter patter, clitter clatter shuffling down the stairs.. “Mammy, Daddy I need to tell you both I forgot to say my prayers!” 
“Up you go our little one, climbing up the ‘Apple and Pears” as they both carry out her wishes getting up off their comfy chairs

As they all kneel beside her pink princess bed with each head bowing down and their tiny tots eyes tightly shut in her pink fluffy dressing gown.. “Thank you for the stars at night watching us to keep us right.. thank you for the birds that sing, infact thank you Lord for everyhing!”

Lifting her litte one up and lying her on her bed, Mammy plumps her pink pillow up and kisses her sleepy head “Night night now chickadee, shut your weary eyes.. it’s time to go to dreamland to listen to lullabys”
It didn’t take very long for chickadee to go to sleep, before Daddy had counted one.. two..three their Angel was asleep..
