I hate how you hate me!
You don’t hate me cause who I am
You hate me cause what I am
It’s not because I’m mean
It’s not because I dissed you
It’s not because I said something that you didn’t like
It’s because of my skin color
You say that we are different
But really we are not
We are the same in so many ways
We do the same things
We like the same music
We hang out in the same crowd
We are no different
So why do you hate me?
Do you hate yourself?
You see me as different
But I see you as the same
I hate how you hate me!
You are no better than me
You may think you are
But really you are not
We receive the same education
We could end up with the same job
You are discriminating me
You put it in your head that you are better
In reality no one is better than anyone in anyway, shape, or form
To you I am in a group of nobodies
Well guess what I am somebody
I stand tall and proud for who am I or better yet what I am
I hate how you hate me!
Have you ever heard of don’t judge a book by its cover
You should get to know what’s on the inside not the outside
Humans are like peepholes…
You can be on the inside looking out
But not on the outside looking in
A lot of people like me for who I am and what I am
