I have lost my spectacles ?

Have you seen my spectacles ? as I am searching everywhere, lifting up the cushions on the sofas and feeling under my favourite chair..I cannot understand it coz I had them on just before but I must have took them off my face when someone knocked upon my door.. 

Well this is a right to-do I really have to say, I have been hunting high and low and up and down and every which way..I foraged through the fridge and rumaged amongst my bins making sure they wern’t hiding in the dirty, empty tins.. Oh my goodness gracious me, where the hell have I put my glasses ? I can’t see..So I sit myself down and count to ten, then I try to recap my memory traces again and again..perhaps I put them in a pocket of my coat hooked on the wall..well I’ve optimistically searched in them but they aren’t in there at all..

I will do what I always do when something is lost “I shall pray to St.Anthony”” whilst I will keep my fingers crossed..He is the patron saint for all missing things and he’s heard my pleas so many times when I’ve mislaid car keys and rings..All day long I have been looking for my glasses, in every single nook and cranny between the cracks and crevasses..Well I finally give up the ghost and wearily I go to my bed, and as I am putting my pyjamas on my glasses falls off my head...?
