I Hired myself today 
At £1,700 an hour 
The least I could do
As it was in my power 

I left £9.21 on the tabe
With its 42 hour demand
To duplicate it for me
Since now I understand 

I set my gage at three years 
With a retirement 
I can sure live with 
For I know life's requirement 

It easier to be rich
Then be governed 
To stay poor
The least have proven
