I LIVE ON THE TUBES

I LIVE ON THE TUBES

I live on the tubes and it suits me just fine
I don't care if its the District, Northern or Bakerloo line
I can always remember my first time of my unusual situation
It was when I boarded a tube at Liverpool Street station

I have seen men fight and argue the toss
I have seen prostitutes getting off at King's Cross
Who can forget the time at Fulham Broadway
Two men holding hands I think they were gay

Then there was the time I got caught without paying my fare
The journey was between Farringdon and Leicester Square
Living on the tubes ain't easy my son
But the people I see give me enjoyment and fun
