Poem -

I lost my spirit

I lost my spirit

I lost my spirit
I just wasn’t in it
Thought a lot
A lot of hate and such
Hate to self and lust and lost
Hate to haters from long time past
Haters gonna hate as they say in that song, in that general throng of that main stream mind
That main stream back street, back street ally where I trapped my love, my forgiveness, my self locked in a vault ten feet down

Down under that ground on which I stand.
