I lost them all one daughter three sons
But I give them to you Lord my precious one
I know I gave them birth but they are not mine to own
I gave them freedom though I’m sometimes alone
I pray Lord that one day that they’ll come to know you
That they will know your ways and do what you do
That they will be filled with the love given by you
That the enemy is gone no longer in view
Satan remove your hands they are not yours
You know that you know the score
I gave them birth but they are now the Lords
They will no longer listen to your evil words
That set them apart from their kin
That caused them to stumble to live in sin
No longer I say things have changed
My Father My God has rearranged!!!
I lost them all one daughter three sons
But I give them to you Lord my precious one!!!

Mrs. McSweeney, I have never read anything of yours before,.....but I am sure many have told you what a gifted poet you are......that piece was so hard to read, and yet compelling at the same time,  ..my personal belief is that satan doesn't stand a chance against The Lord........just repentance and acceptance...and I think you will find them waiting for you one day.........this is so beautiful,.....I feel it should be framed and hung in a holy entryway somewhere......thank you so much for sharing this........lovely, just lovely.........tony xx
Tony, please call me Lyn... you don't know what your comment has meant to me, thank you so much. I am blessed to be able to write poetry, something I have not done until I gave my heart to the Lord. You are right ,satan does not stand a chance, he knows he is beaten but is still trying to take control which wont happen! God is moving in His power right now, you are right many will bow their knee and give their lives to him, the world will be a beautiful place to live in!
