Since I Met You

Since we found each other
have you noticed how
everything is different?
The tired old
world seems new
and full of promises.
The full moon
is now like a beacon
lighting the whole village
that is my heart.
The sun is brighter
warming the earth
every single day.
And the seeds of hope
that we recently planted
have grown so high
I can hardly
see over them.
