i notice and i wish

in my little back garden the sunshine glows 
and the ground stays bored and lonely 
the pavement outside the houses grow old 
clouds hover up above in there funny shapes 
the air is always there it takes with it songs 
stones are thrown sometimes like words of anger 
under the yellow sun love sometimes happens 
plums and peaches are enjoyed when they are wanted 
seconds and hours go by and thousands of steps move across the earth 
I awaits know there is danger in some corners 
but the birds and the animals don't crash and give up defeat 
i long to be in a gentle planet where we are safe 
a planet where I won't be defeated by the bad guys 
if only doves of peace could circle around the kind girls
