I said i wouldn't

2020
I said i would not write a poem about 2020 and all the horrors that we have seen on tv and the fate for so many of the covid 19.
I said i wouldn't write this as the world loss is so much and there is nothing i can use as a crutch. 
I said i wouldn't write this as it would make me cry as i ask the good lord why.
I said wouldn't write this as i know i couldn't help you no matter what i said or do. 
I said i wouldn't write this as it brings out the pain again and again.
I said i wouldn't write this as social media has done enough to feed our brains with images and stuff.
I said i wouldn't write this as we are all in lock down in every country and in every single town .

Then one day i sat up in my bed and thought should i really believe everything that is said, i do know they have said million are dead, what a terrible thing to have put in your head.
Do we now live in fear of the dreaded covid 19, do we lock ourselves in till we all go mad and start to scream.

I pray to my dear God and ask what is going wrong why is so many terrible things going on. 
He said my child, listen just listen  you see the people that have left are all staying with me.
It seems so much as everything is in your face, government fighting to rule first place.
He said my child you can't do a thing just stay quiet and wait
till the pandemic is over it won't be to late.

Much changes you will see in your country some you won't like but most will be greatly
just wait and see.
You see child while you think everything has gone wrong the world has been cleansed and the animal kingdom, you will see animals come out that you have never seen before, you will see foxes come close to your door , you will hear the voices of the sweet birds sing, you will notice the trees and what power they bring.

I know people are afraid to touch and to kiss but sooner or later there will be none of this people, will have made friends with neighbours they have never seen or thought they were just horrible and mean.
Parents will now know their children because they are working from home so many families do not feel so alone, sitting at the table eating meals together many months ago this was a never, people going for walks and getting quite fit whilst at work there was nun of it.
Making phone calls they never got around to do as working outside made it impossible to too
playing with the kids having some fun and finding time to talk to the older one. 
Online shopping things delivered to your that's your choice  of one less chore. 

Politics more politics will always be around there will be fights and arguments in the skys and the ground
it is for the government to sort out the mess that their in and for you to stay strong while waiting.
There will be job losses and people worrying and in despair but they must understand that God really cares he will never leave you alone to weather the storm in just a short time things will be the norm.

Take this time to make changes, you see you can do anything you want to be 
open your eye and look around lift up your head from off the ground, walk with your head high  dont feel sorry dont cry
take this time to see who you are  what want in your life and leave negativity aside.

Look in the mirror and see what you see how amazing you are that's the gift from me 
so you see my child with all that's going on just you remember you have done nothing wrong
play music go seek out what make you feel good there is plenty of that in your neighbourhood.

Don't look at the negative i know it's not easy as there is  plenty of it on your front room tv
give thanks for the sun and the moon and the stars and for all you fortunate people that can drive around in cars
You have air you can breath and light you can see
you have all of my Angels working with me
 
Have faith and trust me my child.
