I shared my life in triplicate

I shared my life in triplicate

I shared my life in triplicate
You didn't take notes.
I bared my Soul in pieces
You neglected to collect them.

I surrendered my spice
And music, poetry and candles to fight the darkness.

I gave you my holographic fragments
I shared my fractured self.
Nights turned into days
And Sunlight we avoided
Light trickling into the dark recesses uninvited.

You suffer from amnesia
Cocooned in an alternate reality
Where I never existed.
I sleep in the bed
In whose shadow lies the photographic negative.

I die in the sun tinged light of morning
A creature of the Darkness
Incense of death
I ride on the smoke of Angels
With broken wings.

Today I saw 8 swans on the grey leaden sea
Calling Spirits home
I heard them calling softly
Come home, come home,
Come home to me.
