I Should Have Cried

I Should Have Cried

I should have cried
But I couldn't
Even if I tried
I'm too used too the pain
Coming from people like you

After using me
Manipulating me
Tricking me
Into destroying me

I should have fallen
To my knees
I should have been
The one to leave
But now
I'm scared
Because you never cared

You used me
Crushed me
Scared me
Prepared me
For other like you

I should have cried
Because you never tried
I should have cried
Because you lied
But I couldn't
Even if I tried

So heartbreaking.  It's even worse that so many people feel this way in their everyday lives.  Really good poem, by the way.
