I still carry your demons. How fitting that you were there for my beginnings, and I was the last person at your end.

 The thoughts tremor thru my brain. Nonsense, it flows reluctantly from my veins.

 I did what I've done and sorry for all but regret none. How sad we so quickly forget the past.

 It churns the outer layer of my being but my deepest emotions thrive off the fantasy of the future.

 I depended on you, yet you depended on him. This why this whole scenario turns grim. 

He lies without a breath, you stare with no emotion, while I watch with no heart. 

You see I took his life because you took my heart and he was the one thing your wretched existence thrived on.

 It took two to tango, but it was three that destroyed the Koi feeling. 

Am I now complete? Or are you just as broke as me? 

I could never be him, but nobody could replace you. 

A merry-go-round of emotions, that only stopped when we could no longer feel. I stare and cringe. 

His looks, his smell, his taste, his embodiment you quivered for. 

I could never be him, I wanted my soul to take over his body, to crawl into his skin and be the best him I could be, but even then you would still know it's me. 

I have been just a prelim for the real show.

 Karate kicks and back flips, I did every trick I thought would make us stick. In the end it was just a reminder of why I make you sick.

 Smiley faces and happy places are only legends told by the ignorant. Without him you are dead and without you I never was.

 A walking cadaver, only breathing out of habit. Death is but a fantasy, hell on Earth purgatory within my heart. 

Every woman I romanced is modeled after you. None of them wrap their putrid existence around my soul like you did, and alas none are a second thought. 

I embrace the last breath that I'll breathe. Until then I'll pretend everything's okay.
