Poem -

i still remember you

i still remember you-

how you used to smile when the sun would rise-

and it was then i realized, that i loved you-

i still remember you-

the way you would look at me when i Ā come home -

and it was then i realized i was not aloneĀ

i still remember youĀ

#

it“s been so long

now that your“gone -

and i am finding harder every day-

because Ā losing you -

was the hardest thing i ever had to do -

to face this world alone -

now you are not at homeĀ

#

i still remember you -

how your eyes would shine so bright and light up the hight sky -

and it was then i realized for you i would die -

i still remember you -

you“d kiss me and hold me till  i fell asleep-

you where mine to keep -

i still rememberĀ

#

but can you tell me why you had to go -

i truly don“t understand.

why god had decided -

to take you from my hand -

did he not realize that i would miss you -

it hurts me soĀ

why you had to goĀ

now i am left to rememberĀ

#

i still remember you -Ā

in all the things you do -

even though you are gone -

your memory will carry onĀ

o god i miss her -

my love i“ll remember -

i still rememberĀ
