Poem -
I TOIL
I toil
A vast frozen wasteland
fierce and cold, there is nobody here, just me.
I tend the weeds, try to grow something, anything of meaning but new growth perishes in the bitter wind
Still I toil
I glimpse others like me. We stumble by each other, connect briefly, move on. All drift away. Back to their own patch to tend their own weeds
Still I toil.
