Poem -

I walked the trail.

I walked the trail.

I walked the trail with the forest near, bird song and creaking in my ear

The sound of the trees
Bought solace here

My soul, my heart the sunlight sheer

The wildflowers grow on nearby logs, the trail covered by Erie moss

Such fulfillment, my heart ,Not lost

Yet found in the surrounding overgrown

I walked the trail, there at my own

Lonely nevertheless

Time would make the bluebells clang' on the landscape

where they hang

I come to pass the passage bend, towards the trailblazers end

Where birds had sung
And light there grew
In the stillness of the forest and it's great view.

Beautiful images.

I liked how you used short phrases and decriptions about the foliage and wild flowers.

Favorite Line:

The wildflowers grow on nearby logs, the trail covered by Erie moss

You painted a specular scene, rich in color and imagery. Well done.
