Poem -

I WANT TO GO OUTSIDE

He said to his daddy on this spring like day
"I'm going outside would that be okay "
Daddy replied to his only son of eight
"Not today son you will just have to wait"

The boy scratched his head and asked why
Daddy explained and then began to cry
"The world can't go out not only you
Staying indoors is what we all must do"

The little boy of eight now began crying too
Being indoors is awful when the sky is blue
Many more days inside for this loving pair
Lockdown to them both unjust and unfair
