I Will Rise

I will rise from here on out

by focusing my full intentions on my next steps to make them count

I belong here and i know why i used to choke

Before it evens becomes something that is broke

by not following the path i should take

to become someone who isn't fake

I know I will break what gets in my way

making me stronger from this day

My drive to survive will not leave

I will clear my thoughts so i can see

To become someone who understands what it takes

To handle what comes my way without delay

The hold I have on life will grow

I just know I will fight for more hope

I will become the one to lead my life to succeed

Having a mind that's trained to realize lies and deceit

i will not fall into my old craves

I will not feel strange

I will not walk with my head looking at my feet

I will not cry my eyes to sleep

I will not be overtaken by my emotions

I will control my mind notions

I will promise you one thing i will keep

From this day on you will see me differently
