I wonder as I ponder ?

I wonder as I ponder do you sleep alright ? or like me do you traipse thru your corridors within the darkness of the night ? 
Dam, blast and blitherations it is a painststaking plight forever searching that sleepy Slumberland delight

I curl my body like a comfortable Cat then only seconds later I have to shift speedily from where I am at
Yes I want a wee you can be sure of that 
So I jump out of my bed in a hurry with a scat

Well I am back in my boudior shutting my eyes once again and “Hell’s teeth” my tinnitus starts ticking “Oh what a pain”
One of these nights I will be driven insane
with the restless legs syndrome and my over-thinking brain

I realise I write about insomnia quite alot but I know all about it coz that is what I’ve got
It drives you around the bend where you may lose the plot
Did I have it as a baby lying in my cot ?

“No way I never” my Mother would have said as I lay yards away from her in the Kingsize bed 
She told me I used to fall asleep within the book that she had read
with those pictures from the pages twirling in my head
