I WONDER WHY

I WONDER WHY

When it's time for my mum to die
I will stop and wonder why
Can somebody tell me and explain
Why I should lose but heaven should gain

My mum is only 72 and has not long to live
She will be taken with so much love to give
A loving mother and caring wife
Cancer has ruined this lady's life

The anguish, the hurt and the pain
I will ask this question again
Why should she be taken from me and be asked to die
For the love of God I wonder why
