Mountains and Rivers

The sound of a pigeon in the forest

The sweet voice of a singing bird

Sounding from a mile away

The smell of soil

The damp leaves

Washing the morning away

I will never forget you.

Eyes keep twinkling

Vision keeps fading away

My site of you comes smaller and smaller.

As you’re back was on my view.

No hand can reach.

Only thoughts and memories rule my heart.

I will never forget you.

I won’t forget that smile

Your smell

Your touch

Your walk

Your everything

I will never forget you.

As you vanish,

My mind is at piece.

As your view can’t be seen.

My thoughts say write a poem.

Just tell her you will never forget.

 I won’t forget you that are not a promise.

 Those words are facts.
