I WON'T GIVE UP MY SEAT FOR YOU

Why should I give up my seat for you ?
Call the cops if that is what you must do
I will sit where I want for I have rights too
We all know the story of Rosa Parks is true

My respect for Rosa on the bus that day
She was not afraid for having her say
A trailblazer in history and paved the way
Courage and bravery were both on display

Rosa was arrested and thrown into jail
Treated with contempt and not given bail
Led to racial unrest on a major scale
Rosa left her mark and certainly left a trail
