Ibis On My Fence

Your neck is primordial like the vulture's

Your wing feathers robust like a cock's

Sly eyes hide secrets from the pyramids

Whiskers on your chin are rays of Ra

Your speckled tail feathers seem stolen from the zebras of the steeps

Slender black legs as robust as machines

The scarab must imagine your beak to be Grim's sickle

So far you have traveled to visit our lands

Across mountains and rivers and ocean sands

RE earlier, I am pretty sure if you hadn't initiated a response I still would had written the same.
