Poem -

ICE + RINGS + MOONS

All the moons of Saturn
Cannot compensate my soul
and here within her icy rings I
wait, as life unfolds

Beneath below in green and
blue
A globe a'spin with nothing
true
Which offers comfort none, to
me
So here I wait, frozen yet free

To wander death on crystal
shards, which deepfreeze
hearts to glazier hard
An ice Queen on a frozen
earth, repeating questions
Of no worth

Yet here I linger, search for
ways
To make a home
On Saturn... stay... for though
she answers, not in word
I sense that I am not unheard

She shares with me an alien
light
Ice diamonds in the frozen
night
A strangeness that I recognise
So here I wait... on ice...
In outer skies
