IDOLISING AN IDOL

Staring at her picture on his bedroom wall
Admired this lady since he was small
Seen all her movies and seen her on TV
She was his idol which you can plainly see

He wondered what she was like in real life
Was she a good lady and an ideal wife ?
Did she care for her kids like mothers do
He didn't have the answers that much is true

His idol he knew that he would never meet
To her he would be another man in the street
I think idolising is harmful and innocent enough
Something to hang onto when times are tough
