If and All

Nobody Asked
If I might like it
A saplin I was felled
coldly cut from snuggled womb
to land in human hell
Nobody thought
When twining legs
if sperm might be the best for
egg, or even if an egg so small
Had any thoughts to
If and All
And when with snarl and no
clear voice, my birth occurred
With no real choice
And gushing parents kissed and
bloomed, IĀ quite distinctly
Bellowed tunes
Of Wrath!!Ā

Oh my god! Marion my dear, too sad. This writing is so powerful that I put my head down in a deep respect. Love to you Marion dear.Ā
Do you ever wonder though? A newborns first interaction with our world is to cry and whilst that is mostly survival instinct ....I often wonder if it is not a little not more? Thankyou trulyĀ my friend X
Our voices echo, magnifying your arrival. New statue.
In a drafty museum, your nakednessĀ
Shadows our safety. We stand round blankly as walls.

Sylvia Plath, bless her cotton socks. Nah just kidding. She's my favouriteĀ
Ah... makes sense
I shall have to read more of her x
LoL superb, can make the reader laugh or cry as it's so damn true, and leaves your reader with a mountain of reflection as none of us were asked to be born, and where we end up after that birth is anyone's guess of why. š¹ Kudos my dear MarionĀ
It can bend the brain if thought about too much lol...much appreciated hugs x
Atoms do what atoms do, we don't seem to have any choice as to what they build, they know when to build a tree and they know when to build a human, seems very odd, but I'm no scientist.
Exactly that NE....the mysteries of life...unknown but compelling. Thankyou my friend x
