IF CHICKENS COULD TALK

If chickens could talk what would they say ? 
Maybe tell that murderer to put that gun away 
They don't want to finish up on a person's plate
Makes them feel anxious and gets them in a state  

If pigs could talk what would they say ? 
Please don't shoot us and let us live today 
To end up as sausages, bacon and pork so true
Naturally they would feel concerned and I guess I would too 

If sheep could talk what would they say? 
On the field chewing grass is where they want to stay  
I'm sure the sheep would bleat and say oh damn 
Just because some person wants a dinner of roast lamb 

I enjoy my meat but if I stopped and gave it some thought 
I wish these animals had not been killed and caught
