If I Could Speak for Nash

     If I could only speak for the fudge 
If you did not know 
that’s my grandson 
he was born today 
      He can’t speak he is blessed to just breathe 
but his mommy and daddy will guide him and lead him 
I will not have much to say 
     If I could only speak up for Nash 
he has no words 
but I know he will after 
popop writes his poem 
    If I could only speak for Nash 
maybe 
one day 
My words 
would last
