If I Could Take Your Pain Away

If I Could Take Your Pain Away

As I sit here by your side,
I can’t help but to think.
Why can’t they find a cure for Cancer,
What could be the missing link?
The cancer took a toll on you,
Now you can’t get out of bed.
So many things I have to tell you,
So many things are left unsaid.
You wear a great big smile,
That you use as your disguise.
But I can only see your pain,
When I look into your eyes.
This will be a tough battle,
You can always lean on me.
But if you feel you can’t go on,
Then God will set you free.
And I will always love you,
I know you did the best you could.
If I could take your pain away,
You know I surely would.

Hello Donald...

It's very disheartening they can't find a cure...

Research and Treatment has come a long way, but for us who haven't been blessed by that and the only thing we're left with us are our prayers that God will lovingly take them Home and Love them because we won't be able to anymore in person...

As long as they are still with us that is our blessing that we can say it as much as we want...

We should do it anyway, but it does give us a new appreciation for what we still have...

Beautiful and Sad write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hugs...
