IF I DIDN'T CHOOSE HEAVEN
Hidden deep within me, the adrenalin could be ready to explode...
The choice is mine with nothing to lose...
If I turned my back on my God, the hurt side of me would care nothing at all...
I would live for only myself and if I lose my freedom I would wait patiently on death row...
If Lucifer is real he would take my soul...
If there's no Heaven and no hell there's nothing that keeps me in check, nothing at all...
I wouldn't take my time to try to understand or love anyone...
The Mafia may want me to join them but, that would make me family and I wouldn't need anyone but, me...
I could probably ride with The Hells Angels but, I would be too much trouble and too much of a risk on the road...
I would be so unpredictable and in a turn of a hat I would feed the wolves with live human remains...
If I didn't choose Heaven, I really would admire that side of me...
If you ask me why that's my choice, maybe we'd agree that it's good to have that place for me to want to go...

Sparrowsong this is a really hard one for me to comment on. The hells angels are true organised crime and yet I have called many of them friend. Some still call me friend. Ever since the eighties I have prayed they do not find out that even back then I was on the side of true angels and we hadΒ to know if they were going to use affiliation with the Californian Angels to sell guns to the IRA.
I have typed this now sparrow so I have to decide.
It's been thirty years and I am tired.
