If I knew then what I know now

If I knew then what I know now ,I would have studied a little harder , and paid attention a little bit longer

If I knew then what I know now , I would have kept walking when your path crossed mine

If I knew then what I know now  ,I would have hugged my mom one last time

If I knew then what I know now , I would have held on to you just a little bit tighter

If I knew then what I know now , I would have answered the phone on that late dreary night

If I knew then what I know now , I would know that I was worth the wait , and I should have waited

If I knew then what I know now , I might be a little better off in life

But because I didn't know then what I know now, I took the little more difficult way of life, but these scars and bruises are shining through showing everyone , and reminding me that I'm stronger than I could ever think
