If I was the Lord 🙏

If I was the Lord 🙏

I would walk upon the waters if I was the Lord

But I am not God almighty so I need a wooden board

I would heal those that were hurting if I had his magical powers

Feeding the famine from easily accessible edible flowers

Oh If only I could perform miracles, well wouldn’t that be sweet

I would make people walk again that had crippled feet

Aww but how I wish these wonderful things were able

I could put so much colour back into lives that were dismal and sable

Alas I am only an average being, and I worry my moments from torment that I am constantly seeing

Though I look up to those sensational twinkling stars every midnight

And I send all my love to the needy to wish them alright

But I fear my positive prayers are never, ever enough

In this beautiful whole wide world, there is so much smooth with the rough…
