If love hath wings'

If love hath wings' to travel, and by moonlight
Gleaming landeth here

I'd hold that love before the light, I'd pull it closer - near,

For many stars hath shone the way, and captured pathways running deep

And landeth here upon my eyes, whilst eyes abode in sleep

And waketh would my heart there silence
Though beat with ever word,

To hear the sounds of his embrace a captive angel a wing' ..ed bird

For flight would hath my lover flown, to rest within my heart so still

And ever love, a cherished love
Embraced by heart forever so , no wings to fly
but him, not I , truly unletting go.

A Lonely Journey

Deano!
Absolutely beautiful! It's so nice to have you back, you're a wonderful writer, and much missed.
Hugs,
Matthew.

PS. I put up my class picture if you want to guess who I am. It's not the greatest likeness of me, but it's very lifelike. Thanks.
