If Not Now Then When

If Not Now Then When

There you are
Standing in the kitchen
I'm trying to talk to you
But you refuse to listen

Finally you snap and say
Can't this wait another day

My voice is now louder
I'm yelling back at him

If it's not now, then when?
Can I even trust you again?

I've finally had enough
I decided to stand up
I don't care what you do
But you better find
Some place new
Cause I shouldn't
Have to put up with you

He takes his car, storms and leaves
So I wait a bit and grab my keys
Go to the store
Get new locks
Can't take more
If he knocks
His bags will be out
With his dirty socks

It's been a few months
I don't care where you are
As long as you are so far
You can never leave a scar

I found someone that loves me
But I'm scared
Because my heart's
Not prepared
To do this all over again,
But if not now then when?
