If only we could walk back into our past
those treasured memories that disappeared so fast

Family & friends whom we knew long ago
Climbed up to the heavens leaving loved ones below

Oh how I wish we could see them again
to reminisce those faces that are hazy in my brain

Just scattered photographs displayed on our table
If only they could come to life
Oh how I wish that was able

These are whimsical wishes which will never come true
Tho I’d give anything I had
for just a moment with you

Mother & Father I miss you so much
If only it were possible to feel your sweet touch

Back in the days when I was so small
I never thought for a second these things at all

But now I am older with children of my own
My mind wanders away to the people I’ve known

Keep precious people akin to you
Show them your affection in everything you do

These familiar faces that you know & love
Could be called to join angels up above
