Poem -
I`LL ASK
I`ll ask the angels to sing you a lullaby
To soothe your furrowed brow.
And I`ll ask the sun to shine down upon you
To try to heal your heart somehow.
I`ll ask all the stars to light your way
And I`ll ask the moon to shine bright and clear.
I`ll also ask the snow to sparkle
Whenever you are near.
I`ll ask the rain to gently fall
Just in case you want to hide some tears.
But most importantly of all
I`ll ask our Lord to watch over you
Whenever I`m not here.

Aww! that is so lovely thank you Larry that`s got me in tears, but they are such happy tears and I love you both for it, that`s a lovely surprise to get this morning sweetie from my Larry. It was grief that got me writing Larry, in 2013, it took me four years of deep blackness before I started to realize that I was still needed after Andrew`s death in 09. I didn`t know all those words were in this old tin can of mine till now!!! But I feel terribly guilty for the way I shut myself off from everyone by not leaving the bedroom. My eldest daughter Georgina got me out of that terrible hole when she simply said ` I want my mam back, please come back to me! ` She suggested that I write all my feelings down and the poetry grew from there, so she is my guardian angel as well as my Andrew. Thank you so much my darling that was a lovely treat for me and I`ll treasure it always.
