SURE AS EGGS

I did not want to go
Just so you know
Did you think for one moment
I did?

But they closed my eyes
Anyway
Just a finger on lids
And me in the bed there
Stone dead

And that's all it took
Just a flick of the wrist
To see me off packing
For good

And did anyone ask me?
Consult with me first?
No, not at all
It was just like my birth

Who makes these decisions
That's what I want to know
Now I'm here on my own
I don't know where to go

You wait till I find him
This person in charge
Because as sure as eggs
Its a man

But now that iv got here
I'll just take a stroll
Try to find tesco
For a cuppa and roll

And what of the bathroom
Because I'm needing a wee
Oh what a mess
Let's go and see

But if I don't like it
I'll be sure to return
Don't think I'll be staying
For long

So don't sell off the house
Or kill off the cat
Because sure as eggs
I'll be back.

Well death seems to be my favourite subject matter so I thought I'd better try and lighten it up for a change. I'm often dealing with dead people and I often wonder what they think of it all...that's what inspired this Jill ..thankyou love ?

You know though, some of your words I don't understand, like Jill's. Are you Norhtumbrellan, also?
Anyway, it was great, and I truly hope you're not deceased as of this writing.
