I'll Run

I'll run
To the mountains
To the farthest reaches
Of the world
Where they can't find me
Where my pursuers
Are no longer behind me
And desire can no longer
Blind me
I'll run
To where they can't see
The deepest forest
The highest tree
That maybe
I might open the door
That sits in the sky
Waiting for me
That door to
Another world
Because
This can't be it
I'll run
And I'll run
And I'll run
Without quit

Good write. I think sometimes we all find us in a situation where we feel like running xx Susan
Indeed and it's in those times that the greatest inspiration can be found, thank you very much Susan

Hey Onlooker ~ which came first?Ā The pic or the poem?.......seriously, I'm curious..........because the two together are perfect........I LOVE this write........it is SO open to interpretation.......especially metaphysical interpretation..........there's a book I'd like to recommend.......and I know I shouldn't........but this really reminds me of one of my favorite books calledĀ "A Separate Reality" by Carlos Castaneda which goes into depth about opening that door you refer to in your poem.......it's the second book in a series I think you might find fascinating.........don't ask me why........it just popped into my head........and I also ADORE his writings.........anyway..........very cool write my friend...........Love and Rockets!!..........T xo
Thank you Tony and the poem came first it was just really coincidental that I found the perfect matching picture, and I thank you a thousand times my friend, really that book you're talking about may be just what I need to read, will do much appreciated, much love
