" ILAENEUS, Keeper Of The Light, Bringer Of Peace ...."

He finds his way. ILAENEUS, without his eyes he's found great peace
And brings it to his brothers, the world over, to entreat
He begged the Lord for the strength to carry on the swords of light.......

"My strength has failed me, also the light from my eyes are gone from me
O dear Lord, shine on me with the brightness of your internal light
Expel all the darkness from the mansions of my heart, light this up in me
Restrain my wandering thoughts, destroy temptations that assail me
Use your strength, in fighting through me, and suppress those wicked beasts!"

A ray of light came from the heavens and bathed ILAENEUS in it's glory
He responded bravely, with a prayer from his heart, he gave his story....

"I beg you, send down Your grace from above, water my heart with heavens dew
pour down the waters of devotion to steep the earth, may it bring forth perfect fruit
Raise up my mind, which is weighed down with the heavy weight of sin
lift up my thoughts to heavenly things that I may taste the sweetness of happiness
With these things I shall travel the face of the earth bringing light and the touch of peace
Without my eyes I will need not see the darkness simply feel the light upon my skin
And when the DAY is done, I will wander through the NIGHT and do this all again
I will never rest dear Lord ,riding always in the shadows never in retreat
I will be your willing soldier keeping Your Light, and bringing Peace"....

In the heavens there came a thunder ILANEUS got up from his knees
His heart was lifted as he raised his swords and mounted his noble steed
In his mind he could see all around him, the Lord had blessed him
Freed him
From all sin......
