There are times
I find it's hard to say
Things I'd like to say
But she makes me hesitate
Then awkwardly smile
And oh,
It's not that she's intimidating
It's more in the way she's represented
In my mind
Like a song from the past.....
There's something truly kind
In the way she speaks to me
A light in her gentle tone
A familiar timbre in her resonance
That makes my hyper-sensitive nature
Feel completely at home
She's a regal etching
Engraved with electric dignity....
She's everything in rarities resilience
A tender heart, a loyal mind
She's the Illusionary girl
From my dreams, my fantasies, and lore
She's the girl I'd search for
Were I a knight in shining armor
She's perfection in a single heartbeat
Pulsing its way through
The bloodstream of my youth
Like a temptation
Dripping from a golden spoon
She's that golden honey
Nearly never found
And every time I hear her words
It affords me a celestial shiver
For something far beyond
This earth,
Created,
An angel....

if I wasn't me but was you, then I wouldn't change a single word .. but I aint, so you must do what your muse dictates .. but remember mate .. all work & no play makes ............................................. a gurt royal bit of work as we say down this neck of the woods .................. All Good Things & few few rockets thrown in for good measure :)
