Poem -

I'm Captive

Yeah, I grew up dreaming of the lights
which in a small town led to many fights
But it was all those sleepless nights
when my mind on fame set it's sights

So I went off and wrote to set the captives free
from the current stagnant social mentality
Until I realized what I couldn't clearly see
that the real prisoner was inside of me
