I’m fine... for real this time

Normally this would be a different story. 
Normally it would be sad. 
But today I write something new. 
It is a day to be glad. 

Because good things have happened
on this happy day
Good things have happened 
that made me smile this way

I met this boy,
I thought he was sweet. 
the universe new I would like him
from the day that we meet. 

And he liked me too
And that made me smile. 
So every day
we hung out for a while.
