Poem -

I'm Here! Hear Me!

I'm Here! Hear Me!

You may not know me, the me that I am, the respect I've been taught I say yes sir , yes mam.

You may never know this mother, this daughter, this Aunt and this friend

you may not ever hear about me til my life closes and ends.

I have felt the wind blowing against my face it' true

I have touched a leaf, wet with the morning dew.

I'm here, oh I hear

The trees rustling about as a mighty storm does blow

I hear , I feel , I see, I know.

You may never see the sketches I sketched when I was very, very young

You may not know the joy it gave me and how it gave me such fun.

I'm here, I see, I feel, I have felt all emotions

I have swam out and rode the waves back of the ocean.

I have laughed, lord knows I've cried

I've had hurt when loved ones died.

I'm here, I hear, I cry , I tear, I love, and have loved too

I have ran, and jumped did crazy things in this life as I travel through

this earthly land

I feel I hope, I share, I care, I hold a sweethearts hand.

When I am gone, will anyone remember a dark haired brown eyed

girl born in September? I pray, I plead, I desire, I need.

I care, feel compassion, I learn I read.

Who will remember this person, who before the world stands

When I am here no more, standing before one with nail pierced hands.

I cry I tear, I love, I hear, I rejoice, I paint and draw

will you remember me when I am gone from here

to a land where I will hear trumpets blast my name and I see wonders

in awe...........
