Poem -

I'm hurting but please stay

I'm hurting but please stay

As his arms slick
around my waist
Sending shivers down
My spine

As his eyes connect
With mine
Memories of the
Hatred that they once held
Burning my scalp my brain on
Fire thinking of the past

His glare so intense
Making me want to squirm away out of
His grip
But I'm frozen

His jaw clenched
From saying something that he
Might just later regret
holding in his anger

His hold so fierce
So tight
So angry

Tears fall down both my cheeks
i cry ,

he sighes
his grip becomes loose
His arms now
By his sides.

"Goodbye" he says
His voice no longer hostile or angry
tears well up in his eyes
He turns around and walks away
Not spairing me a second glance.

"Please don't go" i whisper not loud
but he heard and froze before walking away for ever.
