I'm safe now

I was trapped in a home

Where I felt so alone

Where the scars that I had

All came from someone bad

Now I am safe

In a brand new place

Where the People love me

And tell me what they want me to be

They see me growing up

And becoming one of there own.

If only I was safe at first

And still didn't question my worth

But now that I found

The home where I'm safe and sound

I think I'll be happy now.
