In a Perfect World

In a Perfect World

In a Perfect World...
You would always be close to the ones that truly love you.
You would live close to the places that you find beautiful.
You would be able to please and be pleasured by whom your soul desires.
You would be respected of your talents and forgivin of your mistakes.
You would be pampered like the star that you are in your life.
You would witness villains trade the roll of victims.
You might die a heroic death in battle, Than return to a long happy life of peace.

in a perfect World...

For the first time I will leave a beginning comment on my poem,....I never know what to post for a image for my work so I simply 'google' the title....and this is where I arrived.
ps. I hope I spelled everything in this comment correctly....because I can never edit it.

It is my hope that you enjoy this.
sincerely.

Your principled and creative mind explodes on to the page. Blistering intention to pass on wisdom finds a voice through craft.

Tidy poetry !

Warmest wishes as usual.  :)

In a perfect world, your character determines your worth.
Never to be judged by your color, or the status of your birth.

We would limit the use of fossil fuels, use solar and wind energy.
Children would recieve true education, and have more respect for the elderly.

We would have a sanity test, for policemen and politicians.
And anyone wanting an assult weapon, would have to submit a petition.

The teachers would sing their lessons, History taught with poetry.
We'd have a button to push,...that makes our keys and wallets ring!

Everyone should serve their Country, in some manner for two years.
Restaurant work taught in schools, Including the work of cashiers.

Along with the freedoms that we enjoy, we have responsibilitys.
Yes everyone should contribute, in their community.

Education and healthcare, Should be a right for all.
With equal funding for the music and arts, as we do for pro football.

In a perfect World, we would value opinions that others had.
Is there something that you would like to change?
Or something that you would like to add?

We are all in this World together,
And your comments I do treasure.
It doesn't have to rhyme,...
Please,.. take your time,....
But do respond to this,...
Whenever.
